Module To Stator Wiring Harness Test
With DVOM set to 200-k/ohm scale, connect negative test lead to distributor base and measure resistance alternately between harness terminals mating with Orange and Purple ignition module wires. See Fig 1 . If resistance is greater than 70 k/ohms, test is okay. Go to IGNITION COIL SECONDARY RESISTANCE TEST. If resistance is not as specified, check wiring harness between module connector and distributor, including distributor grommet. Repair as necessary.
