Speedometer Calibration Check
- Drive vehicle on road with measured mile markers at 30 MPH and 60 MPH. Time interval between mile markers. Divide 60 by number of minutes between mile markers. This number is the actual vehicle speed.
- Does speed fall within the allowable range? Refer to the SPEEDOMETER SPECIFICATIONS table. If speedometer does not fall within allowable range, replace instrument cluster.
NOTE:
Improper tire size will cause error in readings.
