Valve Body: Reassembly

  1. Shift transaxle into Reverse to place manual plate in correct position for reassembly. Install valve body using a mirror to align groove of manual valve with manual plate. Tighten retaining bolts to 95-130 INCH lbs. (11-15 N.m).
  2. Insert solenoid connector into transaxle case hole. Attach mating connector.
  3. Attach kickdown cable to throttle cam. Install valve body cover and new gasket. Tighten to 69-95 INCH-lbs. (8-11 N.m). DO NOT  use gasket sealer on cover or gasket. Connect oil cooler hoses. Attach five 4EAT connectors, and support 4EAT harness on transaxle clips. Connect main fuse block. Install battery carrier and battery. Add specified transaxle fluid, and start engine. Test vehicle for proper operation, and ensure no leakage is present.
