Excessive Noise

A high-pitched sound may be heard from steering gear valve and/or pump when steering wheel is turned to either full lock position. The noise also may occur when steering wheel is moved slowly. Manufacturer says the noise is caused by power steering fluid flow and "in no way" will affect performance or service life of components in system.
