After performing TEST STEP in left column, compare results with CODE PATTERN to determine appropriate ACTION TO TAKE. While performing Test A, ignore code needle sweeps retrieved while steering wheel is centered.

A pass code in right column, under ACTION TO TAKE indicates no faults detected. Proceed to Test Step B. If directed to pinpoint tests, see PINPOINT TESTS listed in this article. (Example: Begin with PINPOINT TEST A1, then proceed to PINPOINT TEST A2, A3, etc.)
