Delay Control Test

Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between terminal No. 220 (Purple/Orange wire) and terminal No. 217 (Dark Blue/Orange wire) of photocell/amplifier connector. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . With control in maximum ON position, reading should be approximately 200,000 ohms. If reading is not as specified, perform step 3) of POTENTIOMETER TEST.
If potentiometer is okay, check Dark Blue/Orange wire for continuity between potentiometer connector and photocell/amplifier connector. If potentiometer is not okay, replace potentiometer.
If all systems check out okay, but system is still malfunctioning, replace the photocell/amplifier assembly.
