ECA Check

  1. Ground White/Blue wire at ECA 24-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (TURBO) and IDENTIFYING ECA 24-PIN CONNECTOR (NON-TURBO) illustrations. ECA 24-pin connector is located forward of center console.
  2. If check engine warning light comes on, replace ECA. If check engine warning light does not come on, go to CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CHECK.
