Boost Gauge Check

  1. Disconnect boost gauge sensor connector. Boost valve connector is located at turbo boost sensor, near center of firewall.
  2. Place jumper wire between Yellow/Blue wire at instrument panel 8-pin connector and Light Green/Yellow wire at instrument panel 18-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING INSTRUMENT PANEL 18-PIN CONNECTOR and IDENTIFYING INSTRUMENT PANEL 8-PIN CONNECTOR illustrations. Instrument panel 8-pin and 18-pin connectors are located on right side of dash, near steering column.
  3. Observe boost gauge reading. If boost gauge reads full scale, replace boost sensor. If boost gauge does not read full scale, replace boost gauge.
