PW4: Check For Shorts To Ground
- Turn the ignition key to the OFF position. Disconnect the power window main switch. Measure the resistance between the main switch connector, include all terminals except (Black), (Black/White) and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Check to see if the resistance is greater than 10,000 ohm's. If yes, replace the power window main switch. If no, service the circuit in question for a short to ground.
