Power Window Regulator: Installation
- With glass in the full-up position, install window regulator through the access hole in the door. Insert the slide into the glass bracket C-channel.
- Position the regulator base plate to the inner door panel and install four rivets. 1/4-20x1 inch screws and 1/4-20 nuts and washers may be substituted for the rivets. Tighten to 9-14 N. m (7-10 ft. lbs.). See Figure.
- Adjust door glass. See DOOR GLASS under ADJUSTMENTS.
- Connect the electric motor wiring.
- Cycle the door glass to ensure proper operation.
- Install the door trim panel and watershield. See DOOR TRIM PANEL .
