Door Trim Panel: Removal
CAUTION:
Take care when removing and installing the plastic clips. These clips break very easily and replacement clips may not be available at your parts department.
- Remove the window regulator handle, if equipped. See Figure .
- Carefully pry power window switches from the armrest and disconnect electrical connector.
- Remove the four armrest retaining screws.
- Remove the screw retaining the inner door handle.
- Disengage the clip attaching the inner door handle to the control rod. See Figure .
- Remove the screw, retaining the trim panel, from the sail panel. See Figure .
- Remove the door trim panel by carefully prying outward around the lower edge of the panel with a flat tool. Slide the door handle through the door trim panel and remove the trim panel from the vehicle.
