Instrument Panel Supply Check

  1. Check for 11-13 volts on Black/Yellow wire at instrument panel 18-pin connector. See IDENTIFYING INSTRUMENT PANEL 18-PIN CONNECTOR illustration. Connector is located on right side of dash, near steering column.
  2. Observe voltmeter reading. If voltmeter indicates 11-13 volts, go to INSTRUMENT PANEL GROUND CHECK NO. 1. If voltmeter does not indicate 11-13 volts, repair Black/Yellow wire between instrument panel and fuse panel.
