Tachometer Pulse Check No. 1
- Disconnect Yellow/Blue wire from ignition coil. Connect low wattage test light between Yellow/Blue wire and 12 volts. Set ignition switch to RUN position.
- If tachometer needle jumps, check Yellow/Blue wire for corrosion and/or intermittent contact, and repair as necessary. If tachometer needle does not jump, go to TACHOMETER PULSE CHECK NO. 2.
