RESUME Circuit
- On Escort and Tracer, measure voltage between circuit No. 356 (Red/Yellow wire) and ground. On all other models, measure voltage between circuit No. 151 (Light Blue/Black wire) and ground. On all models, press and hold cruise control RESUME button. Voltmeter should indicate about 6.5 volts. Rotate steering wheel back and forth while watching for fluctuations.
- If voltage varies more than 0.5 volt, perform CONTROL SWITCHES test. If voltage for each circuit is correct, perform appropriate SERVO test and install a known good amplifier. DO NOT try amplifier before SERVO test is performed.
