Control Assembly Test: Sable
- Unplug connector from control assembly. Ground control assembly pin No. 5. Connect jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3. See Fig 1
. Connect test light between pin No. 1 and ground.
- Using a fused jumper wire, apply 12 volts to pin No. 2. Test light should not glow. Momentarily connect pins No. 2 and 4 with a jumper wire. Test light should glow and stay on after temporary connection is broken.
- Test light should go out only if pins No. 2 and 4 are again momentarily connected, jumper wire between pins No. 2 and 3 is removed, or approximately 10 minutes have elapsed. Replace control assembly if test results are not as specified.
