Pinpoint Test G - Warning Indicator

  1. Turn ignition off. Unplug ABS control module connector. Turn ignition on. If ANTI-LOCK warning light comes on, go to next step. If warning light does not come on, inspect METER fuse and bulb. If fuse and bulb are okay, repair Black/Yellow wire between instrument cluster and anti-lock relay.
  2. With ABS control module disconnected, turn ignition on. Unplug anti-lock relay. If warning light goes out, go to next step. If warning light does not go out, repair grounded Pink wire between instrument cluster and anti-lock relay.
  3. Leave ABS control module and anti-lock relay disconnected. Turn ignition on. Connect Blue/Yellow wire at anti-lock relay to ground, then repeat Blue/Yellow at ABS module to ground. If ANTI-LOCK warning light comes on for both connections, go to next step. If light does not come on at all, inspect METER fuse, bulb, or Blue/Yellow wires. Repair as necessary. If light comes on when only one Blue/Yellow wire is grounded, repair the other Blue/Yellow wire.
  4. Turn ignition off. Leave ABS module disconnected. Measure resistance of Black wire between harness connector and ground. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace ABS control module. If resistance is not less than 5 ohms, repair Black wire to ground.
