Warning Indicator Lights

Use the following symptoms when the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) or the overdrive off light (A/T) is on or flashing while driving.

• If Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is on or flashing while driving, perform QUICK TEST. See TESTS W/CODES - EEC 2.5L article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section.
• If overdrive off light is on or flashing while driving, check for transmission codes and repair as necessary.
