Section 62 (A/C-Heater System - Automatic): Description

The automatic A/C-heater system consists of Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) module, ambient temperature sensor, sunload sensor and in-vehicle temperature sensor. The controlled components include a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) blower speed controller, 3 vacuum actuated air control doors and an electrically operated temperature blend door.
Clutch operation is controlled by high and low pressure cut-out switches and A/C cut-out relay with inputs from the PCM.
