Wiper Motor
- Disengage wiper arm linkage from wiper motor. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect a jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 4 at wiper motor. See Figure . Using fused jumper wires, connect ammeter between positive battery terminal and terminal No. 6 at wiper motor.
- Measure low speed current. Disconnect jumper wire from terminal No. 6. Connect jumper wire from ammeter to terminal No. 5 at wiper motor. Measure high speed current. In both low and high speed tests, current should not exceed 3.5 amps.
