Wiper Motor Current Test

1. Disengage wiper arm linkage from wiper motor. Unplug connectors from wiper motor. Using fused jumper wires, connect ammeter between positive battery terminal and Yellow/Red wire terminal of wiper motor. See Fig 1 .
2. Connect jumper wire from ground to Dark Blue/Orange wire terminal of wiper motor. Measure low speed current. Disconnect jumper wire from Dark Blue/Orange wire terminal, and connect it to White wire terminal of wiper motor. Measure high speed current. In both low and high speed tests, current should not exceed 3.5 amps.
