With Super Star II Tester
- Connect Super Star II Tester (007-0941B) to Data Link Connector (DLC) with Super MECS Adapter (007-00052). DLC is located in engine compartment, near battery. Set adapter in ABS position. Set tester in MECS position. Depress tester switch and latch in TEST mode.
- Turn ignition on. Wait 2 seconds. Turn tester on. Observe ABS warning light. If light flashes briefly, then goes out, system is okay.
- If light stays on, clear codes. See CLEARING TROUBLE CODES . Repeat trouble code retrieval.
- If ABS warning light flashes, past or intermittent faults are indicated. Clear trouble codes. See CLEARING TROUBLE CODES . Repeat code retrieval.
