Power Window Motor: Removal
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove door trim panel and seal. Disconnect motor wiring connector. Ensure wiring is not in line with holes to be drilled in door inner panel.
- Using 1/2" (12.7 mm) drill bit, drill 2 holes in door inner panel at drill dimples located opposite window motor retaining screws. Remove 3 window motor retaining screws using 2 drilled holes and existing larger hole to access screw heads.
- Push window motor toward outer panel to disengage motor from regulator. Remove window motor. After motor is disengaged, prop window glass in full up position.
