SAFING Sensor: Removal

Safing sensor is located behind console, near throttle pedal. Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  . Disable SRS. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Remove center console front finish panels. Disconnect safing sensor connector. Remove mounting bolts and sensor.
