NOTE: Diagnostics for 1995-96 7.3L direct injection diesel, are OBD-I standard with 4-digit Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).

If no DTCs or only pass codes (system functioning properly) are present during self-tests, proceed to H - TESTS W/O CODES - 7.3L DIESEL article for diagnosis by symptom.
