Front Suspension: Description
The front suspension is a MacPherson strut gas-pressurized type. The strut assembly includes a rubber isolated top mount, seat and bearing assembly and a coil spring insulator. See Fig 1 . The top of the strut assembly mounts to the body side apron. The lower strut assembly fits into a pinch joint, designed into the steering knuckle. A link assembly runs between the strut and stabilizer bar end. A forged lower control arm attaches to subframe in 2 places and steering knuckle at lower ball joint.
