Set/ACCEL Switch Inoperative

  1. Disconnect speed control servo connector. With speed control actuator SET/ACCEL switch pressed, measure resistance between terminals No. 5 (Light Blue/Black wire) and No. 6 (Tan/Orange wire) of speed control servo connector while rotating steering wheel through full range. If resistance is 646-714 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is not 646-714 ohms, replace speed control actuator switch.
  2. Measure resistance between terminals No. 6 (Tan/Orange wire) and No. 10 (Black wire) of speed control servo connector. If resistance is greater than 10 k/ohms, replace speed control servo. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair Tan/Orange wire.
