Speed Control Indicator Does Not Turn On
- Turn ignition on. Disconnect speed control servo connector. Measure voltage between terminals No. 1 (Orange/Light Blue wire) and No. 10 (Black wire) of speed control servo connector. If voltage is about 5 volts, go to step 3). If voltage is not about 5 volts, go to next step.
- Measure resistance of Orange/Light Blue wire between terminal No. 1 of speed control servo connector and electronic instrument cluster connector. If resistance is less than one ohm, go to next step. If resistance is greater than one ohm, repair Orange/Light Blue wire.
- Turn ignition on. Connect a jumper wire between terminals No. 1 (Orange/Light Blue wire) and No. 10 (Black wire) of speed control servo connector. Observe SPEED CONTROL indicator on electronic instrument cluster. If SPEED CONTROL indicator turns on, replace speed control servo. If SPEED CONTROL indicator does not turn on, repair electronic instrument cluster.
