Test L: Speed Control Indicator Does Not Turn Off
- Check Speed Control Servo/Actuator For Short To Ground - Turn ignition off. Disconnect speed control servo/actuator connector C165 (located in right rear of engine compartment). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If speed control indicator illuminates, go to next step. If speed control indicator does not illuminate, replace speed control servo/actuator and perform self-test diagnostics using NGS tester.
- Check Orange/Light Blue Wire For Short To Ground - Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C214 (located behind instrument cluster). Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and speed control servo/actuator connector C165 terminal No. 1. See Figure . If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace instrument cluster printed circuit and perform self-test diagnostics using NGS tester. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Orange/Light Blue wire between instrument cluster and speed control servo/actuator. Perform self-test diagnostics using NGS tester.
