Removal & Installation
- Disconnect negative battery cable. ABS control module is located in left rear corner of engine compartment. Remove Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) mounting bolts. Lift up on release tab and disconnect ABS control module electrical connector. Remove ABS control module mounting bolts and remove ABS control module from vehicle.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ABS control module mounting bolts and HCU mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
