Test F: Speed Control Indicator Does Not Turn On
- Check For Voltage To Servo/Actuator - Turn ignition off. Disconnect speed control servo/actuator connector C102 (located next to brake master cylinder). Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using a voltmeter, check voltage between servo/actuator connector C102 terminals No. 1 and 10. See Figure . If voltage is 10 volts or less, go to next step. If voltage is more than 10 volts, replace speed control servo/actuator and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
- Check Orange/Light Blue Wire For Open - Disconnect instrument cluster connector C251 (located behind instrument cluster). Using an ohmmeter, check resistance in Orange/Light Blue wire between instrument cluster connector C251 and speed control servo/actuator connector C102 terminal No. 1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace instrument cluster and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in Orange/Light Blue wire and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
