Test G: Speed Control Indicator Does Not Turn Off
- Check Speed Control Servo/Actuator - Turn ignition off. Disconnect speed control servo/actuator connector C102 (located next to brake master cylinder). Turn ignition to RUN position. If speed control indicator illuminates, go to next step. If speed control indicator does not illuminate, replace speed control servo/actuator and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
- Check Orange/Light Blue Wire For Short To Ground - Disconnect instrument cluster connector C251 (located behind instrument cluster). Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and instrument cluster connector C251 Orange/Light Blue wire terminal. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace instrument cluster and perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Orange/Light Blue wire between instrument cluster and speed control servo/actuator. Perform SELF-DIAGNOSTIC TEST under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
