Test B1341: Power Door Unlock Circuit Shorted
- Check PID DD_LOCK - Select RAP module PID DD_LOCK. If PID DD_LOCK reads UNLOCK, go to step 3). If it does not read UNLOCK, go to next step.
- Check Driver Door Lock Switch Input - Read RAP module PID DD_LOCK. Press driver door lock switch to UNLOCK position. If PID DR_LOCK changes to UNLOCK, replace RAP module. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Restore and retest system. If it does not read UNLOCK, repair open in Pink/Yellow wire circuit. Restore and retest system.
- Check GEM PID DR_UNLK - Select GEM PID DR_UNLK. If GEM PID DR_UNLK reads SHORTGND, see DOOR LOCKS - POWER article. If it does not read SHORTGND, go to next step.
- Check Pink/Yellow Wire Circuit For Short - Disconnect RAP module connector, located beneath instrument panel. With an ohmmeter, measure resistance of Pink/Light Green wire circuit between RAP module connector and ground. If resistance is less than 10 k/ohms, repair short in Pink/Yellow wire circuit. Restore and retest system. If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, replace RAP module. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Restore and retest system.
