Torque Converter End Play Check

Special Tool(s)

Install the special tools into the torque converter.

Tighten the nut.

NOTE: If the indicator reading is above specification, install a new or remanufactured torque converter.

With the stylus contacting the converter shell and the dial indicator set to zero lift up on the handles of the checking tool.
