Trouble Shooting

Verify customer concern by operating power mirrors. Ensure battery is fully charged. Visually inspect the following components for physical or electrical damage.

Mechanical

• Mirror Control Switch
• Mirror Assembly

Electrical

• RADIO Fuse (5-Amp) On Coupe
• MIRR Fuse (5-Amp) On Sedan And Wagon
• Mirror Control Switch
• Mirror Assembly
• Loose Or Corroded Connections
• Inspect wiring harness for obvious signs of shorts, opens, bad connections or damage. If inspection reveals an obvious problem which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction before continuing inspection and verification. If problem is not visually evident, go to SYSTEM TESTS  to continue diagnosis.
