Front Seat: Installation

  1. Position front seat in vehicle and install front seat front track bolts. Tighten seat track bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Move front seat to forward position. Install front seat rear seat track bolts. On models with power seats, disconnect negative battery cable. Reconnect power seat electrical connector.
  2. On models equipped with side air bags, remove side air bag simulator from harness connector and reconnect connector. On all models, remove pretensioner simulator from harness connector and reconnect connector.
  3. Connect negative battery cable. With air bag simulators installed at all remaining deployable devices, perform system operation check. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK  under . Activate air bag system. See ACTIVATING SYSTEM  under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
