Removal and Installation

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
- Remove the wheel speed sensor.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor harness retainer.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor harness pin-type retainer.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor and harness assembly.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Clean off all dirt and foreign material that may have collected around the rear anti-lock brake sensor before removal.
