Seat - Front: Installation

- Position the seat in the vehicle and connect the seat electrical connectors.
- Install 2 new seat track-to-floor front bolts and washers.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING in the General Procedures .
- Move the seat fully forward.
- Install 2 new seat track-to-floor rear bolts and washers.
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Install the 2 seat track-to-floor covers.
- Position the safety belt anchor to the seat and install the nut.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Install the safety belt anchor cover.
- Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to SAFETY BELT SYSTEM .
NOTE:
Original fasteners must be discarded and new service fasteners installed. Service fasteners can be reused.
