Memory Set Switch

Remove memory set switch. See MEMORY SET SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Measure resistance between indicated switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See MEMORY SET SWITCH TEST table. See Fig 1. If resistance is more than 5 ohms between any test terminals, replace switch.
To test memory set switch LED, connect positive DVOM lead to memory set switch terminal No. 8. Connect negative lead to memory set switch terminal No. 9. Resistance should be more than .3 ohm. Reverse leads. Resistance should be more than 10 k/ohms. If resistances are not as indicated, replace switch.
