Removal and Installation

- Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
- Remove the 4 screws and the steering wheel cover.
- Remove the 4 nuts and the steering wheel brace.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the 4 speed control switch screws and the speed control switches.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
