Warning Devices

The warning chime module is incorporated within the instrument cluster. The system components include the following:
- Instrument cluster
- Safety belt warning switch (warning lamp and repetitive chime)
- Key-in-ignition switch (repetitive chime)
- Headlamp switch on warning (repetitive chime)
- Door ajar switch (warning lamp and single tone)
The following four distinct chime rates are used to indicate warning:
- Safety belt warning chime is one chime per second.
- Key-in-ignition warning is two chimes per second.
- Headlamp on warning is four chimes per second.
- Door ajar warning is a single chime.
