Keyless Entry Keypad

NOTE: Factory code is printed on owner's wallet card, located in glove compartment and on Generic Electronic Module (GEM).

Keyless entry keypad allows driver to lock/unlock doors, arm/disarm the alarm system, luggage compartment lid and liftgate (wagon) without using the key. A personal entry code can be programmed. Allowing entry using factory code or personal code.

To program a personal code, enter factory code. Keypad should illuminate with first button pressed. Press 1/2 button within 5 seconds after entering factory code. Enter new 5-digit personal code, each digit must be entered within 5 seconds of previous one. To exit, press 7/8 and 9/0 simultaneously or wait 5 seconds. If a second personal code is entered, the previous personal code will be erased.

To erase a personal code, enter the factory code. Within 5 seconds of last factory code digit, press 1/2 button and release. Within 5 seconds, press and hold 1/2 button for 2 seconds. System will now only respond to factory code.

Entering the personal or factory code will unlock driver's door only. This will also disarms anti-theft system (if equipped). Within 5 seconds of last code digit entered, passenger door(s) and liftgate (wagon) can be unlocked by pressing 3/4 button. To unlock luggage compartment lid or liftgate only, enter personal or factory code and press 5/6 button within 5 seconds. All doors and liftgate can be locked at any time by pressing 7/8 and 9/0 buttons simultaneously. This also turns courtesy lights off and arms anti-theft system.
