Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation

  1. Install the bracket and bolt on the PCM.
    • Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
  2. Install the PCM and the lower bolt.
    • Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
  3. Install the upper PCM bracket bolt.
    • Tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
  4. Connect the 3 PCM electrical connectors.
  5. Install the cowl panel grille. For additional information, refer to COWL PANEL GRILLE .
  6. Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. For additional information, refer to PROGRAMMABLE MODULE INSTALLATION (PMI) .
