A/C Relay

  1. Remove A/C relay from engine compartment relay box, located on left front side of engine compartment. Perform A/C relay continuity test. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . If relay continuity is not as specified, replace A/C relay. If continuity is as specified, go to next step.
  2. Connect a fused jumper wire between battery voltage and A/C relay terminal No. 1 and 3. Connect a second jumper wire between ground and A/C relay terminal No. 2. Measure voltage between A/C relay terminal No. 2 and 5. If 12 volts are present, relay is okay. If 12 volts are not present, replace A/C relay.
