Trouble Shooting

Verify customer concern by operating power door lock/remote keyless entry system to duplicate condition. Visually inspect components. If inspection reveals an obvious concern which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction before continuing inspection and verification. Check for damaged latch and binding lock mechanism or linkage. Check for blown fuse(s), damaged wiring harness, loose or corroded connections, damaged switches, faulty Driver Door Module (DDM), faulty Lighting Control Module (LCM), damaged door lock actuator, faulty transmitter and transmitter batteries. If no problems are found, go to SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM  .
