Remote Transmitter
NOTE:
Generic Electronic Module (GEM) will erase all previously programmed remote transmitters when a new remote transmitter is programmed. If adding an additional remote transmitter, all existing remote transmitters must be reprogrammed at same time.
- Turn ignition switch from LOCK to RUN positions 8 times, within 10 seconds ending in RUN position. Doors will lock and unlock indicating Generic Electronic Module (GEM) has successfully entered program mode.
- Press any button on remote transmitter. Doors will lock and unlock to confirm programming. If doors do not respond for any remote transmitter, wait several seconds, and press button again.
- If additional remote transmitters are to be programmed, press any button on remote transmitter to be programmed within 7.5 seconds of pressing button on last transmitter. If programming is successful doors will lock and unlock.
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position, or wait 5 minutes to exit program. Doors will lock and unlock one more time.
