Anti-Theft Systems - Active: Description

The anti-theft system is designed to prevent unauthorized entry into passenger or engine compartment. Anti-theft system consists of a driver door lock cylinder disarm switch, a passenger door lock cylinder disarm switch, liftgate lock cylinder disarm switch, Remote Anti-theft Personality (RAP) module, door open warning light switch, keyless entry remote transmitter(s), hood switch/bracket assembly and a theft indicator. When triggered, anti-theft system will provide audible and visual alarms. Horn will sound, headlights, parking lights and THEFT indicator will flash.

Anti-theft system is controlled by a RAP module. Whenever system is armed, unauthorized entry will be detected by anti-theft door disarm switches, anti-theft door disarm switch, liftgate lock cylinder, or the hood switch. THEFT indicator is located in the instrument cluster right of right turn signal indicator.
