Luggage Compartment Release Feature

Luggage compartment release unlatches luggage compartment lid when customer requests it to be opened using keyless entry remote transmitter or interior luggage compartment release button which is hardwired to Generic Electronic Module (GEM). When GEM receives a ground signal to open luggage compartment, it will in turn ouput a ground signal to luggage compartment release relay. Ground signal closes relay which supplies power to luggage compartment release solenoid. Solenoid then actuates to release luggage compartment latch.
