Inspection & Verification

Verify customer concern by operating power door locks to duplicate condition. Check for faulty keyless entry keypad, damaged transmitter, faulty transmitter batteries and binding locks or latches. Check vehicle battery charge. Check for faulty fuse(s), faulty Generic Electronic Module (GEM), damaged wiring, loose or corroded wire connectors and poor ground connections. If inspection reveals an obvious concern which can be easily serviced, correct malfunction. If problem does not exist, perform self-diagnostics. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM .
