Fuel Conditioning Module - 6.0L Diesel: Assembly

  1. Install the fuel conditioning module mounting bracket and bolts.
    • Tighten to 17 Nm (13 lb-ft).

  3. Install new O-ring seals on the fuel pump and lubricate with clean engine oil.

  5. Install the fuel pump and mounting bolts.
    • Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

  7. Install new O-ring seals on the relief valve cover and apply clean engine oil.

  9. Install the pressure relief valve and bolts.
    • Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).

  11. Install a new O-ring seal and fuel filter on the fuel conditioning module bowl. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.

  13. Install the fuel conditioning module bowl.
    • Tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).
    • Rotate the fuel conditioning module bowl until the electrical connectors line up.
