Section 4 (Electronic Suspension System): Description

NOTE:
Electronic air suspension is available only on models manufactured prior to 7/25/97.
Rear air suspension is air-operated and computer-controlled. Optional air suspension system replaces conventional steel coil springs and provides low spring rates for improved ride and automatic rear load leveling.
Two air springs replace conventional steel coil springs and support vehicle load at rear wheels. Air springs are mounted on the rear axle spring seats and to the frame upper spring seats, much like conventional steel coil springs.
